Sales Contract Officer 

What you will do

  • Support imec’s Business Development department in drafting and reviewing template-based standard agreements, such as non-disclosure agreements, evaluation agreements and amendments and extensions thereto, in collaboration with the business legal team. 
  • Support imec’s Business Development managers by coordinating the full contract process of such standard agreements from initiation until contract signature, including interacting and negotiating the legal terms with the customers to finalize the agreements.  
  • Represent the assigned cases at internal meetings, such as the Business Operations Team (BOT) meeting, and keep track of the status of current cases at such meetings, to ensure a good collaboration between Business Development managers, the legal counsels and the IP responsibles.  
  • Keep the CRM sales automation system up to date, making sure the business cases you coordinate are well documented.

Who you are

  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree in law.  
  • You preferably have previous experience with template-based contract negotiations. 
  • You are interested in interpreting customer feedback in contracts and coordinate the associated actions.  
  • You have excellent organizational skills and can switch between tasks without losing track.  
  • You are not afraid to escalate when action is required.  
  • You have the discipline to document your business cases and have a keen eye for detail.  
  • You have good communication skills with excellent knowledge of English.  
  • You are a team player but are also able to work autonomously and take initiative.  
  • You have experience with Microsoft office (Outlook/Word/PowerPoint/Excel/Teams). Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Sharepoint and OneDrive are considered a plus.
