About ChipNL Competence Center:
ChipNL Competence Center is a dynamic hub driving the growth of the Dutch semiconductor industry within the framework of the European Chips Act. We are a collaborative project bringing together key stakeholders, including Brainport Development, ChipTech Twente, High Tech NL, TNO, JePPIX, imec, OostNL, BOM, and InnovationQuarter. Our mission is to empower Dutch SMEs and startups in the semiconductor sector through a range of services and support, including:

What you will do
As Program Manager Supply Chain Coordination, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of imec.IC-link in the Netherlands. This is a senior-level position reporting directly to the Strategic Development Director of imec.IC-link. You will be responsible for developing and executing the supply chain access strategy, focusing on ASIC services within the Dutch competence center.
In this position you will work from different locations to connect with the different technical teams. Your base location can be our office at High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, or at OnePlanet Research Center in Nijmegen
- Develop and implement the supply chain access strategy for ASIC services within the Dutch competence center. You will focus on building a strong network of Dutch suppliers for electronic circuits, leveraging the existing ecosystem within imec.IC-link.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the Dutch semiconductor ecosystem. This includes suppliers like foundries, EDA tool vendors (Cadence, Synopsis, Siemens EDA), IP houses, design houses, and OSATs, as well as potential customers and users. You will also collaborate closely with the EU Design Platform, a central body coordinating all IC design activities in Europe, and connect with other competence centers across EU member states.
- Promote the ASIC services offering to Dutch SMEs and startups. You will work in close collaboration with the EUROPRACTICE program, a well-established initiative that provides access to design tools and manufacturing services for European researchers and companies.
- Drive continuous improvement of the quality and speed of our services and innovations. You will proactively identify areas for optimization and contribute to the implementation of new ideas.

Who you are
- An experienced professional with a PhD or Master's degree in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field. For Master's degree holders, at least 10 years of relevant experience is required.
- A broad understanding of ASIC services. Familiarity with the ASIC design and manufacturing flow, from design to tape-out, validation, and final production, is a plus. You should at least have a general understanding of the process and key suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new information.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving quality improvements.
- Excellent communication and networking skills and the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is essential, and Dutch language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently, mainly within the Netherlands (20%).
