What you will do

As a Network Engineer, you are responsible for the operational management, support, and continuous improvement of our network infrastructure. You play a key role in ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our global network environment, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, S(A)SE, cloud, Datacenter, and firewall systems. In addition to daily operations, you actively participate in infrastructure-related projects, contributing your technical expertise to the design and implementation of new solutions.  

You resolve complex incidents, support project implementations, and contribute to the development of a reliable and future-proof network landscape. With a strong focus on execution, you apply best practices in network configuration, monitoring, and documentation. You work closely with architects, security specialists, and other infrastructure teams to ensure stable and secure connectivity across the organization. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain and optimize network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, cloud, S(A)SE environment, as well as critical network services such as DNS, DHCP and AAA. 
  • Monitor network performance and proactively address capacity, latency, or reliability issues. 
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for network-related incidents and service requests. 
  • Implement network changes in line with approved change management processes. 
  • Participate in the rollout of new network solutions and assist with integration into the existing environment. 
  • Contribute to infrastructure projects as a technical expert in the networking domain. 
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure proper segmentation, firewall rules, and secure remote access. 
  • Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams. 
  • Contribute to the automation of routine tasks and improve operational efficiency. 
  • Support network aspects of disaster recovery planning and execution.

Who you are

  • Solid experience (>5 years) in managing and supporting enterprise network environments. 
  • Strong knowledge of switching, routing (BGP), firewalls, S(A)SE and Wi-Fi technologies. 
  • Familiarity with vendors such as Cisco (IOS-XE, NX-OS, ACI, ISE), Palo Alto (NGFW, Prisma Access), Infoblox, Azure, or similar. 
  • Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting tools, and traffic analysis. 
  • Understanding of network security best practices and segmentation principles. 
  • Basic knowledge of scripting or automation tools is a plus (e.g., Python, Ansible). 
  • Analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented approach. 
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
