What you will do

As a Business Integrity Specialist:  

  • You will be responsible for implementing effective business integrity and compliance programs and joining a team in that fast-growing segment of activities.  
  • You will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to business integrity.  
  • You will conduct thorough due diligence checks on partners and suppliers to gather relevant information, such as adverse media and lawsuits. Based on these findings, you will provide clear recommendations regarding risk and potential mitigating measures, enabling the business and management to make well-informed decisions.  
  • You will be responsible for promoting and upholding our company’s ethical standards.  
  • You will be part of the compliance team within the department “Compliance, Legal & Intellectual Property”.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Update, develop and implement business integrity policies and procedures, such as code of conduct, bribery, corruption, whistleblower, anti-money laundering, ... 
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on business integrity issues and dilemmas. 
  • Monitor, follow-up, manage incidents and report on compliance with internal policies. 
  • Ensure international alignment of these policies across the relevant countries. 
  • Conduct training sessions on business integrity and compliance. 
  • Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations affecting business integrity. 
  • Collaborate with leadership to promote a culture of integrity within the organization.

Who you are

  • Master’s degree in law, philosophy, political or social science, or a related field, or equivalent education for the job. 
  • Proven experience in business integrity, compliance, or a related role for at least 5 years. 
  • Strong understanding of ethical principles and practices. 
  • Ability to write policies, analyse complex compliance issues and provide clear guidance. 
  • Ability to drive innovation, continuous improvement plans with stakeholders. 
  • Self-motivated and pro-active. 
  • Creative thinker, with desire and ability to look for better ways to approach issues and situations. 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills. 
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
