The Quantum Device Team at imec is involved in the characterization of qubit devices integrated in its state-of-the-art 300mm cleanroom. To consolidate the device characterization platform, we are looking for a software engineer to develop solutions for qubit electrical test, focusing on high throughput measurement routines and data collection/analysis. You will work on electrical testing routines for room temperature wafer screening down to cryogenic temperatures, spanning multiple frequency decades between DC and microwave bands and develop software solutions for a variety of measurement techniques (DC, low-frequency AC, microwave pulse synthesis, homo/heterodyne detection). Your background is the one of a software developer that is able to translate physics-informed device testing into measurement scripts. You will support R&D operations, interacting closely with physicists, engineers and material scientists, to create project-specific test solutions.
In detail, you will:
We offer you the opportunity to join one of the world’s premier research centers in nanotechnology at its headquarters in Leuven, Belgium.
