Our contribution is small. Literally speaking: our field of expertise is nanoelectronics. But the impact of that is huge! The chip technology we are working on, is being put to good use in high-tech solutions for better health care, safer transportation, sustainable energy, to name a few. A better world starts with new technology and new technology begins in our cleanroom.

Which brings us back to you. Because no matter how advanced our technology and devices are, they are useless without the right, skilled people to handle them. That’s why we are looking for an Electron Microscopy Operator!

We guarantee that you won't be bored.

As an Electron Microscopy Operator, you have several responsibilities:

  • You will receive intensive training before operating our high-end Scanning Electron Microscopes and other Cleanroom Equipment to perform and prepare for inspections.
  • Together with your co-workers and shift leader, you balance your own workload according to our defined daily targets.
  • You make sure you understand the various requests of our researchers and perform the inspections as such.

What we do for you

We offer you the opportunity to join one of the world’s premier research centers in nanotechnology at its headquarters in Leuven, Belgium.
