Corporate Finance specialist  

What you will do

You will work closely with a variety of stakeholders.      
You will be part of the corporate finance team.

Key Responsibilities: 

International growth:  

• You will support the Corporate Finance department to set-up and start new entities abroad;   
• For these new set-ups you will support the business case and drafting of business plans and collaborate with cross functional teams within imec;  
• You will work with the different finance teams to ensure info sharing on the financial plans and the underlying assumptions;  
• You will work with external providers (accountants, auditors, other advisors,...)  but also coordinate with internal stakeholders and within the finance teams (accounting, business controlling, project accounting, ... ) to support the entities to structure the financial flows and finance function in close relationship with headquarters; 
• You are responsible for the financial overview of these growing entities in close collaboration with finance colleagues and you ensure the overall financial compliance requirements; 
• You will be part of the taskforce to evaluate and improve the integration of these entities in the imec group in collaboration with the (Finance) colleagues, taking into account the changing needs and requirements of the entities and the organization. 

State aid compliance reporting:   

• Ensuring compliance with state aid regulations and according reporting requirements. 
• Conducting internal reviews and analysis to ensure compliance; 
• Providing training and guidance to colleagues;  
• Prepare a state aid compliant set-up for new entities.

Who you are

• Master’s degree in (applied) economics or equivalent experience. 
• 6-10 years of relevant expertise  
• Strong broad general financial knowledge 
• Keen on learning 
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English. 
• Analytical, stress-resistant, and tech-savvy.
