3D DRAM device characterization Engineer
What you will do
Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) is a volatile memory used for temporary storage and quick access of the data being actively used or processed by the processor. With scaling of the DRAM for higher density, the cost per bit is saturating due to increasing processing complexity. For high density and cost effectiveness, the possibility of 3D integration of the DRAM device is being investigated.
Imec is looking for a characterization Engineer with experience in transistor and/or DRAM characterization. In this role, you will be responsible for detailed electrical characterization of the 3D DRAM devices. It will support the development and validation of process modules. You will work closely with process integration and modeling teams to identify control knobs, define device design, and process splits. The learning derived from your investigation will contribute to subsequent material/process/device innovations, targeting device performance optimization.
What we do for you
