The IMEC Exasciense lab is proud to present its latest developed elPrep software tool that is a high-performance tool for preparing .sam/.bam files, with support for variant calling in sequencing pipelines (hereinafter “elPrep”) fully owned by IMEC vzw, with registered office at Kapeldreef 75, 3001 Heverlee (hereinafter “IMEC”). IMEC wishes to provide you as visitor on this website page general information relating to elPrep as well as refer you to the relevant applicable terms that govern your use and access with respect to elPrep. elPrep dual licensing
elPrep is offered by IMEC under dual licensing, namely (i) AGPL v3 with Additional Terms (https://github.com/ExaScience/elprep/blob/master/LICENSE.txt); and (ii) elPrep Premium License (https://github.com/ExaScience/elprep/blob/master/PREMIUMLICENSE.pdf) as a closed circuit for which the order form and terms are easily accessible through the Flintbox platform, with accompanying documentation.
Purpose
It is understood that the elPrep software is merely a tool for analysis by its users of structured genome sequencing data to output the reconstructed human genome and identify notable genomic variations and it cannot be used for any clinical decision-making.
