Exploring the future of automotive sensing.
Views on Automotive Sensing
In this webinar, we will provide our perspective on the future of automotive sensing. While the drive for new sensors will come from the end application, we expect true breakthroughs to be enabled by new technologies. Therefore, at imec, we try to answer the question "Which new sensors do L4 cars need?" from a unified top-down and a bottom-up perspective. This applies to both radar, LiDAR and imagers. In this talk, we will discuss how imec drives progress in all three modalities and speculate how an L4 car will see the world beyond 2030.
